Our workshop in Silicon Valley is merely the first steps forward as part of our vision for building a community where Social Media Practitioners and Champions learn from one another, establish their reputations and identify best practices so they can focus more attention on innovation and creativity. There are many other cities around the world where we plan to host these workshops. We will be announcing a few more workshops for later this summer (after Chris Heuer’s wedding on 070707) and a bigger tour in the fall, which will likely include Cananda and Europe.

Our philosophy is simple. Identify the most insightful Social Media Champions and Practitioners who have the skills necessary to teach other people. Partner with these leaders to produce the highest quality workshop possible - one that serves as the catalyst for launching successfull Social Media programs by the participants. We will work together with local partners and local leaders to ensure we attract the right people, secure the right venues and deliver the highest quality education possible around our chosen subject matters. In short, we are working hard to co-create a valuable experience, with Social Media Club serving as the executive producer of the workshops, allowing the experts to focus on their expertise.
